Taking Card Payments (my experience)

[Following the opinions and comments elsewhere on this Knowledge Base] I decided to start taking card payments when I found that the cost wasn’t prohibitive in proportion to my turnover. I’ve been in practice since August 2006 and ended the day-job (through redundancy) in December 2007. Since then, my business has been building fairly steadily and allowed me to consider the extra overhead of a card payment facility in November 2011.
