Question: Would you tend to always end all sessions with some post hypnotic suggestion and reassurance before counting out? It would seem natural for me to do so, but I’ve only made specific reference to it in my notes in relation to the initial consultation. I would guess it’s important to reassure the patient that they’ve done things correctly, made good progress and only fair to suggest to carry the relaxation away with them (although remaining fully alert etc obviously).
