Daydream Distraction

Question: I have a client who relaxes well, but the relaxation scale doesn’t seem to keep her as well distracted as I’d like and she admits to wandering off and daydreaming about seaside instead.
Do you think it better to give her something like counting the number of waves or just letting her imagine the sea is enough ?
I seem to recall it is better to give them more to focus on rather than just daydreaming about nothing in particular; am I right?
