Office vs Home Based Practice

Discussion, 2007

I was wondering if anyone has any comments on the way prospective clients view our office location and how that affects how willing they are to phone us.

We are faced with a choice of working from home which is inexpensive and convenient, or risking having high monthly overheads by renting an office on the open market.  The latter does, however, have the advantage that it gives the prospect the impression we are established and seriously in business, which is reassuring to someone who is feeling vulnerable and in need of professional help.
