Pain Control

How might you help someone to reduce or remove pain and when might it be applicable to do so? Includes examples of techniques which can be expanded / amended to suit individual requirements and preferences.

Alleviating pain is a simple enough technique using hypnosis, but it must only ever be used with extreme caution. Pain is the body’s way of sounding an alarm, of letting the person know there is a problem. Switching off an alarm is a dangerous action unless you have fully addressed whatever it was that caused the alarm to sound in the first place.
