There seems to be confusion between the terms recall and regression. These are totally different phenomena.
In my opinion, recall is basically to do with remembering. The patient recalls information from the past.
1) A patient may be asked to recall the words spoken during an incident or even recall the whole incident. This is bringing the memory of the incident into the conscious mind.
