Second Session for Smoking

A therapist requested advice on how to proceed in giving anti-smoking treatment to someone who had previously attended several years ago and had not smoked since – until last week.

The therapist said: “Now obviously, he’s had the full consultation as well as the treatment so my plan was to just go over everything again but not in detail. More like, “do you remember when I said about…..” and if he says yes, fine and if he says no then I can cover it again in detail. The SC will still have the information I gave him in the first consultation, even if he doesn’t consciously remember it, right?” and went on to say:
