The Impatient Patient

I’ve been in practice for a few years now, yet without any shadow of a doubt, I am still on a steep learning curve on so many levels.  Recently however, I feel I have at last mastered one tiny element of what, after all, is a highly complex field of work – and I would like to share it with you.

The element concerned comes under the heading of ‘Telephone queries and bookings’.  A lady rang recently after reading my website to request an Initial Consultation.   As with a small percentage of people who contact me in this way, she wanted to see me as soon as possible, and asked whether I could possibly ‘fit her in’ some time during the following morning.
