I have had an enquiry from a mother who wants her 13 year old daughter to have treatment. Do I need to speak to the mother at all regarding the treatment and problem?

What about confidentiality? How do I know it is the daughter who wants treatment rather than the parent?

Firstly, make sure your Professional Indemnity Insurance policy covers the treatment of minors – not all of them do.
