A therapist believes the treatment to be a failure. Responses from other therapists include advice on how to terminate the treatment and also details the specific information required from the therapist so that relevant advice or suggestions can be given.
I feel I could do with some advice – quite simply what do you say when the treatment does not seem to work?
I have two patients coming to see me on friday for additional sessions and I just have the feeling that I won’t be able to do anything for them. Obviously I will do my best & see where I’ve gone wrong, but I just have the feeling I won’t end up curing them.
I feel quite hopeless worrying what to do if I can’t. Any advice would be appreciated.
