Volunteer K – Voice Treatment

The following is a transcription of two sessions with a volunteer patient which were carried out in front of the students on a Practical Course in 2007. The treatment was provided by Helen Lesser.

The first session shows how The Cause was identified and how the reinterpretation was done.

The second session shows the final treatment session, the Checking Procedures.

These sessions are reproduced here simply to show how the reinterpretation and checking procedures were conducted by one particular therapist with one specific patient. A different therapist would have undoubtedly gone in a different direction; certainly, a different patient would have required different questions and direction. The following therefore cannot be used as a blueprint in any degree – but simply as one example.
