There are, of course, very many reasons why a patient may not continue their treatment to completion and every therapist will experience this occasionally. However, if you find a significant percentage of your clients cease treatment, or there seems to be a particular point in treatment at which people fail to return – here are a list of reasons as to why this might be so.
The list is not exhaustive, but should provide you with sufficient clues to be able to identify any areas in your own practice which might benefit from change.
