History
This patient had been suffering obsessive thoughts and compulsions since she was around 20 years old (now aged 38). Her fears were mainly about germs/contamination and she was therefore on high-alert constantly, needing to know who had touched what and where. The anxiety made getting to sleep difficult and the quality of sleep was impacted.
